November 2019 - typografic delicacies

This month the 'Tilburg delicacy with a Q' (a Qooky) was launched, a cookie dsigned and made by TiburgsAns and Meesterbakker Van Iersel. It was welcomed by mayor Theo Weterings at the beginning of a meeting of the city council and it's for sale at the shops of Van Iersel. The Germand stonemason Benjamin Ritter is becoming a real ambassador for Ams; he held a lecture at the famous Klingspor museum about his work an dthe application of typeface TilburgsAns. He also made a candle stand, using TilburgsAns on the packaging.

Furthermore the typeface was spotted in an exhibition by photographer Rudi Klumpkens in Gallery De Roos, in a Sinterklaas advertisement by Eethuis Twintig, on a front door in the Boomstraat, in the logo of Nooitgebouwd Tilburg, on the website of PixelXp, on the cover of the thesis by Caroline Vos, on all publications for the StadsQuiz (City Quiz) by Kiwanis, on two posters by the local tourist information, in a stand about the Werkgroep De Torenklok and on a poster by Zuydhuis. Finally, the ceramic sculpture 'De Gouden Worst' (The Golden Sausage) by Albert Goederond, that was ruined by vandals in 1997, returned in Tilburg as a pin, that's for sale  in the Vandemaker concept store.
