In June two TilburgsAns characters were adopted: Ó was adopted by Joost Abbing and the integral sign went to Jan Willem van Nunen and Christiane Schijvens. Christiane also received two pictograms of buildings that were designed by her father, the architect Jos Schijvens. The pictogram of King Willem II was used for a theatre act at the May fair and the typeface TilburgsAns was used on a poster for the Besterd Mile and the puzzle ‘Hoe is’t nou in Tilburg’.
